Jody describes her music as New Folk. I just know that it's a serene experience, sitting back and listening to her music. What was really interesting was that her style is a combination of beautiful melodies and a strong, driving rythmn. I have one of her CD's and I really enjoy listening to it. What I also discovered is, besides being an excellent singer and guitarist, she is also a very nice person. Even though she hails from Ithaca, New York Jody plays all over that state, as well as Pennsylvania.
